General information

Are there charging facilities for electric vehicles?
You will find charging stations for a fee in the parking lot in front of the hotel.

Are there storage facilities for my bike/e-bike?
Our hotel has an external, lockable bicycle garage in the hotel parking lot. You can get the key at reception

Is it possible to purchase gift vouchers?
Gift vouchers can be purchased from us. You are welcome to use our online store at www.meereszeiten-shop.de

Where is the nearest post office in Heiligenhafen?
You will find our post office on the market square.
However, there is a post office in 23758 Oldenburg in Holstein.

What public transportation options are available in Heiligenhafen?
The only public transportation available is the bus service centrally located at the old train station (Wilhelmsplatz). It is sometimes possible to take bicycles on the bus.

Does the hotel have an elevator?
All floors are accessible by elevator. Not all rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Where can I buy souvenirs?
There are many opportunities to find and buy souvenirs in the immediate vicinity.

Arrival

When can I check in?
Your room is ready for occupancy from 3 pm, you can arrive earlier.

By what time do I have to check out?
You must have left your room by 11 am. If you would like to check out later, please ask reception about the possibilities.

Does the hotel offer parking?
Yes, parking spaces are available. Free of charge for direct bookers. If you book via a portal, the parking spaces are subject to a charge - 12.00 euros per night.

Is it possible to reserve a parking space?
Reservations are not possible. If existing parking spaces are not sufficient, there is a free public parking lot on the lake about 250m away.

Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept advance bank transfer, cash payment, EC card, Visa Card, Mastercard, American Express Card as payment methods.

What should I do if I have not received a booking confirmation?
Please make sure that your stay has been booked before you arrive.

Can I choose a room?
We are happy to accept your request, but cannot guarantee that it will be realized.

You can book directly on our website or by calling 04362-500 500.

Do I need a credit card number when booking?
You do not need a credit card number for direct bookings at the hotel.

Under what conditions can I cancel my booking free of charge?
Cancellation conditions depend on the rate booked. You will find a note on this in our General Terms and Conditions. Please refer to the booking confirmation for the rate you have booked

What happens if I do not arrive?
If you do not arrive without canceling in advance, 80% of the costs will be charged.

Is WLAN available?
WLAN is available free of charge.

Are dogs allowed in the house?
Dogs are welcome for an extra charge.

Is the reception available 24/7?
The reception is available 24/7.

Can I extend or shorten my stay?
You can enquire about this directly at reception.

All our rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on the balconies and in the outdoor area.

Is there a safe and/or minibar in the rooms?
Safes and minibars are available in all rooms.

Is there a laundry service at the hotel?
We are happy to offer you a laundry service.

Is it possible to make coffee or tea in the rooms?
All rooms are equipped with coffee machines and capsules to get you started.
A kettle is available on request.

Are the hotel rooms air-conditioned?
Our rooms do not have air conditioning.

When will my room be temporarily cleaned?
We clean the rooms between 9 am and 4 pm. There may be delays on busy days.

Can I do without intermediate cleaning?
If you choose not to have your room cleaned, you will receive a small thank you and we will plant trees worldwide through the organization Plant for the Planet. More information is available at reception.

Can guests request extra services from the housekeeping team?

We offer you a rich hot/cold buffet.

When can I have breakfast?
You can have breakfast daily from 7 am.

How long can I have breakfast?
Daily until 11 a.m.; on Sundays and public holidays until 12 noon.

As a hotel guest, can I bring guests to breakfast?
Please register external guests at least 1 day in advance.

Can I have breakfast at the hotel as a non-hotel guest?
Please book at least 1 day in advance, otherwise only subject to availability.

Is an allergen-free diet possible?
Please indicate your intolerance when booking so that we can prepare directly.

Can a decorated table be ordered for birthdays, anniversaries or similar holidays?
Yes, this is possible. Please let us know this information at the time of booking or at the latest at check-in.

Is breakfast in the room possible?
We do not offer breakfast in the room.

Are dogs allowed in the breakfast restaurant?
Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. We will be happy to prepare a table for you in the bar area where you can have breakfast with your four-legged friend.

Does the hotel have its own restaurant?
Yes, the restaurant is called Meeresbrise and is located directly in the hotel. It offers a daily changing 3-course menu. Reserve your half-board when booking, by e-mail or telephone or directly at reception.

What other restaurants are there on site?
There are several restaurants within a radius of 500 m.

Are dogs allowed in the Meeresbrise restaurant?
Dogs are not allowed in the Meeresbrise restaurant.

Hotel bar

Does the hotel have its own bar?
Our bar, the Käpt'ns Lounge(www.kaeptnslounge.de), is located in the foyer and is open daily from 5 pm.

Wellness

Is there a wellness area?
Our wellness area is open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and can be used free of charge by our guests.

Is there a fitness room?
Our fitness room is available to you free of charge and is open from 8 am to 10 pm.

Can I book massages or treatments?
Yes, you can enquire about free appointments directly at our reception.

Are non-hotel guests allowed in the spa area?
Due to its size, the spa area is reserved exclusively for our hotel guests.
